It was in my Biology 101 course in college that I realized I had a passion for mushrooms. When learning about Fungi I was immediately intrigued about their reproductive processes and heteroptrophic composition. This led to me stopping and observing every mushroom I would find thereafter, even to this day over a decade later. I have now identified over 50 different mushrooms on two continents and counting. My hope for these Fungi workshops is to awaken your natural interest in them and understanding their pivotal rolve in our ecosystems and diet. Learning how to identify different mushrooms is also a wonderful cognitive activity that you can do anytime you step outside during mushroom season!
